Homecook's Handbook

     Homecook’s Handbook is a series of cookbook compiled of a series of recipes designed for home cooks, with their time, nutrition, and financial needs in mind. They reached out to me to create a book cover layout to for their newest cookbook, which is a special edition focused on canned goods. I used the color yellow and red to invoke a sense of hunger, enticing potential readers. I also processed an image of an iconic canned good brands to use as the background. I fine-tuned the arrangement, leading, kerning, font size and colors of some of the typographic elements to achieve better readability and legibility.
